Green Sea Floyds Trojans Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 7-0 loss to St. James on Saturday. St. James took the lead on a double in the first inning.

The Green Sea Floyds Trojans Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing St. James, giving up seven runs.

St. James got things moving in the first inning, when K Gollie doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Green Sea Floyds Trojans Varsity was a double by Alexis Cox in the first inning.

B Spiva led things off in the circle for St. James. She surrendered zero runs on six hits over four innings, striking out two and walking zero.

Bailey Strickland led things off on the rubber for Green Sea Floyds Trojans Varsity. She lasted five innings, allowing 12 hits and seven runs while striking out three and walking zero.
