Dr. Todd M. Tupis
Hailing from Eldersburg, Maryland, Dr. Tupis made his way down the East Coast throughout his education, joining Coastal Orthopedics in 2012.
Dr. Tupis received his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, after which, he went on to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to obtain his master’s degree in medical science in 2002 and his medical degree in 2006 from Drexel University College of Medicine.
Following the completion of his medical degree, Dr. Tupis underwent a general surgery internship and his orthopedic surgery residency with Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he served as chief resident. He then completed his fellowship training in sports medicine at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Tupis is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Tupis enjoys golfing, running, playing guitar, and fishing, and enjoying time with his wife and family. Dr. Tupis is also a published author.
Steve LoPresto, P.A.-C
Steven LoPresto joined Coastal Orthopedics as a certified physician assistant in 2014. He received his bachelor of science degree in exercise physiology from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. After completing his undergraduate degree, Steven went on to earn his masters of science degree in physician assistant studies at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
Steven is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
When he is not seeing patients, Steven enjoys surfing, kayaking, mountain biking, exercising, fishing, and playing guitar.

Dr. Winston D. McIver, Jr.
Dr. Winston D. McIver, Jr. is a native of Horry County having been reared in and attended public schools in Conway. He is a 1987 honor graduate from Conway High School as well as a 1991 honor graduate from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia receiving a Bachelor of Science degree.
Dr. McIver was awarded his Medical Doctorate Degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1997.
Dr. McIver is a member of numerous medical organizations which include the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, and the Palmetto Medical, Dental, and Pharmacy Association.
Dr. McIver is a family physician who has an interest in adolescents, adults, and the elderly. He also has a strong interest in hypertension, diabetes, sports related injuries and preventive medicine.
Dr. McIver also acts as the Athletic Medical Director for the Coastal Carolina University Athletics Department.
